Many successful people have learned the value of basing their operations in small Kansas communities where the cost of living and overhead expenses are low, work ethic is strong, and pace of life is a little slower. With near record low interest rates, this is a great time to purchase a commercial property. Kansas was rated the #1 state in the nation in a recent report in Forbes magazine (click on page to enlarge) evaluating where to locate new businesses or subsidiaries. This is an opportunity to relocate or start a new business in an area with a very low cost of living. There are homes available for sale or rent in the Norton area for very reasonable prices.

There may be programs available through the Kansas Department of Commerce and from utility companies to assist qualified individuals or organizations in purchasing and developing properties such as these. Additional services are provided by the Kansas Small Business Development Center to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses grow through professional counseling, training, and resources.
